Job Title: Senior Java Developer (W2 only, no C2C)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong application security experience to support vulnerability remediation efforts. This role combines hands-on Java development with security analysis, focusing on running application security scans, reviewing vulnerabilities, implementing code fixes, and collaborating closely with the security team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly contribute to ongoing projects and help improve the security posture of applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Run application vulnerability scans using Sonatype, Fortify, and WebInspect.
  • Analyze scan results and remediate identified security vulnerabilities through code changes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve security findings and provide guidance on vulnerability remediation.
  • Work closely with the security team to communicate application vulnerability status and track remediation efforts.
  • Work through ticketing system.
  • Support ongoing on-premises Java development projects.
  • Develop, modify, and unit test Java applications and services.
  • Participate immediately in active development efforts and security initiatives.
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (must have lived and worked in the US for the past 3 years)
  • 7+ years of senior-level Java development experience with current knowledge of the Java language.
  • Strong expertise in core Java development.
  • Experience with application security scanning tools such as Sonatype, Fortify, and WebInspect, or a strong application security background.
  • Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience using Git
  • Ability to work independently and quickly contribute to existing projects
