Jacksonville, FL .
(Hybrid in office 2-3 days a week)
Sr. JAVA Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
Responsibilities:
Experience Needed in: Java, Snowflake, DBT, Mongo, Postgres, Iceberg tables , Dell Boomi etc..
1. Snowflake Migration: Guide data migration, services migration, fast-access database migration, and enterprise service integrations
2. Build reusable solutions that enhance data access, application scalability, security, governance, and long-term maintainability
3. Provide senior-level architecture, hands-on development, and technical leadership across enterprise applications, data, cloud, and AI initiatives. Design and support solutions using Java, Python, Node, React, AI frameworks, Cloudera Data Platform, DB2, and Fast Access Databases.
4. Lead the centralized data classification, GW Chat integration, Agentic applications, member longitudinal summary, vulnerability remediation automation, and legacy modernization
5. Data Platform Modernization: Deliver deep technical guidance on Cloudera Data Platform ecosystem; support current workloads, modernization planning, and migration readiness
Requirements:- 5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
- Related Bachelor's degree or related work experience
- Hands on development experience and ability to contribute to AI initiates. This role requires technical expertise in modern AI infrastructure, agentic systems, and cloud architecture, with a strong commitment to hands-on development and implementation.
Preferred Skills :
- Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc
- Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
- Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary
- Hybrid cloud architecture (AWS + on-premises)
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML workloads
