Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a strong background in Java 11 to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a deep understanding of Java programming and its ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Area of expertise:
Experience in migration projects, understanding of 3 Tier app architecture, Java Upgrades from lower version to Mainstream versions etc. We are looing for candidate with strong hands-on experience in this area.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software applications using Java 11.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong proficiency in Java 11 and its core libraries.
Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
Proficient in using development tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with front end technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Scrum).
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
