THE OPPORTUNITY

This position will be responsible for research requests and performing loan system file maintenance, payment processing, credit report requests and special projects as assigned. Must be a team-oriented individual and have the ability to work in a fast pace environment. Work in conjunction with Branch Operations, Loan Boarding and Loan Documentation. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • File Maintenance and loan research.
  • Process daily reports and perform various corrections to loans.
  • Loan insurance tracking. 
  • Process internal Credit Report Requests.
  • Payment processing (advances, payoffs, payments and corrections to loans).
  • Work directly with the banks’ lending units to resolve any loan related issues.
  • Perform daily GL loan balancing. 
  • Back up the file room administrator.
  • Process participation remittances and payoffs. 
  • Follow all established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years’ experience in banking or commercial/consumer lending 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced research skills
  • Understanding the various payment processing methods
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, and understand procedures
  • Effective organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a face pace environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Preferred good working knowledge of IBS system

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
