As an LTL Sales Representative, you create longstanding relationships with a portfolio of manufacturing customers that are built on trust and follow through. R2 Logistics provides industry-specific sales training that gives you the competitive advantage to develop a successful career. LTL Sales representatives provide customers with the logistics solutions that keep their freight moving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Driving new business with a focus on leveraging our best in class LTL solutions
• Maintaining sales pipeline through persistent follow-up via phone, email, and coordinating face-to-face meetings
• Identifying market trnds and capitalizing on new business opportunities
• Qualifying and initiating contact with potential customers
• Facilitating face to face meetings with current and prospective customers
• Problem solving and identifying solutions that R2 Logistics can provide for our customers
• Closing new business through daily communication with prospective customers
Experience & Skills:
• Must have at least 3 years of transportation sales experience, specializing in Less than Truckload ( LTL )
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven track record of success in closing new business
• Persistent, self-starters and competitive individuals
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Energetic and positive attitude
