Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise banking applications on IBM Mainframe platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, and MQ Series, along with hands-on development experience in mission-critical banking environments.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise mainframe applications.
- Prepare technical architecture and design documents for complex banking applications.
- Develop secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions.
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain CICS online applications and screen programming.
- Work with DB2, IMS DB, VSAM, MQ Series, and JCL for application development and batch processing.
- Build and maintain test regions and support application deployments.
- Participate in code reviews and follow version control best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend performance improvements.
- Ensure compliance with banking standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe application development.
- Strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, and MQ Series.
- Hands-on coding and development experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience building and maintaining Mainframe test regions is preferred.
- Experience in Banking Compliance and Regulatory platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment.
