GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Monitors and maintains documents of all aircraft/aircraft component/SE scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
DUTIES
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.
The candidate must have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ability in:
CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) and NAVAIR Instruction 3710.1(series) requirements.
Monitoring, documentation of maintenance, planning of schedule and unscheduled maintenance and inspections, required reports and Navy Logs and Records (i.e., 3M, VIDMAFs, aircraft/aeronautical equipment/SE maintenance), mission configuration, safety, work center coordination, HAZMAT, training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, etc.
NALCOMIS system (utilization, monitoring, reporting, etc.)
Have a minimum of 5 (five) years of I and/or D-level Navy/USMC aircraft/aeronautical systems/SE maintenance experience.
Have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the field of DON military aviation maintenance production control management in the last ten (10) years. Examples of acceptable experience (Officer Designations OR NECs): NEC-8800 Aviation Maintenance/Production Chief (E-7, E-8 or E-9) or USMC equivalency. Graduate from military A and C schools or civilian training.
Have demonstrated managerial and administrative skills, and effective communications skills to lead Tyonek's effort in meeting the contract requirements.
Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in various computer programs required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must be a US Citizen
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. The Secret Clearance process will include requesting a credit history.
