What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment
• Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs to minimize downtime
• Rebuild machines and overhaul unreliable components and attachments
• Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment functionality and productivity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What You Need to Bring to the Maintenance Mechanic Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of vocational or technical training in mechanical repair is preferred
• Two or more years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures
• Strong mechanical, mathematical, and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working at heights using an aerial lift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
• Comfortable working around loud noise, outdoor climates, and confined spaces
• Ability to pass a post-offer physical assessment, drug screen, and background check
