About the Role:

Join CBRE as a Senior Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Technician, supporting maintenance operations for one of our clients in the Industrial & Logistics sector at their Research Triangle Park, NC site.
In this highly visible, onsite role, you will support the maintenance and reliability of approximately 300,000 square feet of Class A office and R&D laboratory space. Working closely with facility and engineering teams, you will coordinate preventive maintenance programs, manage work order workflows, and support maintenance planning activities that contribute to the efficient operation of critical building systems, laboratory infrastructure, and workplace environments.
This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and focuses on maintenance planning, scheduling, asset data management, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where operational excellence and client service are top priorities.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate the engagement, scheduling, and oversight of vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with service requirements.
- Coordinate, prioritize, and assign work orders to technicians and work teams to support efficient maintenance operations.
- Partner closely with technicians and vendors to ensure materials, permits, tools, and equipment, and other resources are properly planned and available to support scheduled work.
- May receive, review, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely payment in accordance with company procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate workflow processes and best practices across the account team to drive consistency and operational efficiency.
- Analyze preventive and predictive maintenance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks; provide regular reports and insights to management and clients.
- Conduct annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and recommend enhancements to support operational performance and reliability.
- Apply maintenance planning principles and best practices to support day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED required, plus 2-3 years of related experience. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Hands-on maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, laboratory, or similar facilities environments is required.
- Experience supporting operations within R&D, laboratory, life sciences, or other regulated technical environments is preferred.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Proven ability to follow established procedures and apply sound judgment to resolve routine operational, maintenance, and scheduling challenges.
- Experience analyzing data, trends, and operational information to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business applications.
- Experience managing administrative processes such as vendor invoices, work order tracking, asset records, and maintenance documentation is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify issues, ask thoughtful questions, and drive tasks to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technicians, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Intermediate mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to perform calculations involving percentages, fractions, budgets, and other financial-related metrics.
