The primary responsibility of the Sr. Maintenance Technician is to perform routine maintenance tasks and assist the Maintenance supervisor with projects within the DNOW Corporate campus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacement.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to cranes and shop machinery.
Maintain fabrication shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, compressors, and grinders.
Conduct facility upkeep-repairing doors, lighting, ventilation systems, and other infrastructure as needed.
Keep accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service reports in compliance with OSHA and manufacturer requirements.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, safety improvements, and cost-saving maintenance practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong focus on overhead crane systems.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and crane inspection requirements.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights when servicing cranes.
