Sr Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assumes responsibility for maintaining and repairing production equipment in a fluid environment. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic skills. Perform facility maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, heating/air, etc.

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

1. Responsible for general repairs of the facility including, but not limited to, painting, roof repair, snow removal, and other miscellaneous repairs
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
3. Must be able to demonstrate familiarity with all equipment and maintenance procedures:

• Preventative maintenance
• Break down repair
• Replacement of equipment
• Record keeping

4. Install new equipment and modify existing equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
5. Miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning, dock shelter repair, basic grounds upkeep, fork lift repair, etc.
6. Demonstrate required technical skills for the job
