Amazon has a track record of inventing category-defining products that change how people work. We did it with AWS, Alexa, and the Kindle. Now we"re doing it again with Amazon Quick: an agentic AI assistant that is redefining the enterprise productivity category.

Amazon Quick changes how you work. It connects across every business system and productivity tool to deliver insights that were previously unattainable and produce business deliverables on behalf of users. Unlike tools that live inside a single vendor"s ecosystem, Quick works well regardless of what systems you"re using or data types you have. It understands work context at a personal, team, and organizational level so it knows what matters most, and takes personalized action on behalf of users, all built on AWS with the enterprise security and governance customers already trust.

We"re looking for a Sr. Manager to lead the Quick Product Marketing team. This is a people-manager role: you will build, develop, and inspire a team of product marketers while owning the Quick brand and go-to-market strategy across both our product-led growth (PLG) motion and our sales-led enterprise motion. Quick is scaling fast, backed by meaningful investment and senior executive visibility. This is a chance to define and lead marketing for a flagship AI product at Amazon.

About the Role

As the Sr. Manager of Product Marketing for Amazon Quick, you will lead the team responsible for positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our AI assistant. You will be the strategic voice of Quick in the market, translating deep technical capabilities into customer-obsessed narratives that drive awareness, consideration, and adoption.

This is a people-leadership role. You will hire, coach, and develop a team of PMMs while partnering cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, demand generation, and creative teams. Quick operates a dual go-to-market model: a PLG motion targeting end-user-led adoption and viral sharing, and a sales-led motion targeting executive and IT-driven organizational adoption. Your team will own both.

Key job responsibilities

Build and lead a high-performing team of product marketers. Hire, develop, and retain top talent. Set a high bar for strategic thinking, customer obsession, and execution quality across the team.

Own the positioning and messaging for Amazon Quick that connects the needs of our ideal customer with the job to be done (JTBD) and differentiates from alternatives, including Claude Cowork, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini Enterprise.

Define and drive the go-to-market plan across both motions: a PLG motion driving end-user adoption, activation, and viral sharing, and a sales-led motion driving organizational adoption through sales enablement and field partnerships.

Know the ideal customer deeply. Understand their challenges, pain points, the environment in which they work, the technologies they already use, and the countless alternatives they have.

Lead product launch strategies including naming, target audience definition, channel strategy, and marketing vehicles for new Quick capabilities and features.

Develop technical content including demos, presentations, reference architectures, and demonstrations that educate customers on Quick"s capabilities and technical differentiation.

Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback, competitive intelligence, analyst interactions, and usage data) to identify opportunities and continuously refine Quick"s market position.

Represent Amazon Quick as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions.

Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success across both PLG and sales-led channels.

Align with technical and business leaders on primary AI assistant use cases for specific ideal customer profiles; define best-practice architectures and integration patterns for each use case.

Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, sales, and marketing leadership to ensure a unified market narrative and coordinated execution.

Why This Role is Different

Quick"s differentiated approach (connecting natively across every business system, pairing deep business understanding with personalized user knowledge) means you won"t be marketing a wrapper on a chat model. You"ll be marketing a fundamentally new way of working. The dual PLG + sales-led motion makes this role unusually broad in scope: you"ll be thinking about viral end-user adoption and enterprise sales enablement in the same week.

This role comes with meaningful investment, senior leadership access, and the mandate to build something category-defining. You"ll have a team to grow, a market to shape, and the backing of a company that has repeatedly redefined how businesses operate. If you want to build and lead a world-class PMM team at the intersection of AI and enterprise productivity, this is it.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
