Job Description Summary

The Sr Manager, Brand Management and Own Brand Packaging is a strategic leader responsible for defining, protecting, and growing the brand's equity. This individual will act as a steward of the brand, ensuring that all strategies, communications, and customer experiences are a cohesive reflection of our core identity and values. Reporting to the SVP of Brand Creative, this leader will be instrumental in forming and executing the long-term vision for the brand and translating it into actionable, cross-functional initiatives that drive brand health and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Brand Strategy & Governance: Develop and maintain the brand's strategic framework, including positioning, architecture, voice, and visual identity guidelines. Establish and lead a brand governance process to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
• Consumer Insights & Analytics: Serve as the internal expert on our target consumer. Champion consumer research and leverage data analytics to uncover actionable insights that inform brand strategy, product innovation, and marketing communications.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with and influence leaders across Marketing, Merchandising, Product Development, and E-commerce to ensure brand strategies are effectively integrated and executed.
• Coaching & Development: Build and lead a small, high-performing team of brand marketers. Foster a culture of strategic thinking, consumer obsession, and collaboration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Archetype: The Brand Guardian. A strategic, consumer-obsessed leader who balances long-term brand building with the commercial needs of the business.

• Experience Highlights:

• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in brand management or brand marketing and 3 years of people management experience.

• Proven experience in a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or omni-channel retail environment where brand is a key driver of the business.

• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing brand architecture, positioning, and identity systems for a major consumer brand.

• Experience leading consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) and translating insights into effective brand strategies.

• Leadership Style: A highly collaborative and influential leader, skilled at building consensus and driving alignment across different functions. They are a compelling storyteller who can articulate a clear and inspiring vision for the brand.

If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
