As part of Schwab Investment Platforms, Solutions, and Strategy, you will join a team focused on shaping the future of investment offers, platforms, and client experiences across the firm. Within Investment Offers & Solutions, you will play a strategic role in advancing Schwab's alternative and structured investments business by helping identify growth opportunities, evaluate market trends, develop business cases, and influence decisions that enhance advisor and client outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that contribute to the evolution of investment solutions across wealth management, advisory, and investment platforms.
As a Sr. Manager, Product Strategy & Offer Management, you will partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, issuers, and external providers to evaluate market opportunities, strengthen operating models, and support long-term strategic planning. Success in this role requires the ability to analyze complex business challenges, develop data-driven recommendations, and communicate insights in a way that influences executive decision-making. You will collaborate across business, risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams to drive alignment, improve capabilities, and advance initiatives that support business growth and an enhanced client experience.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex business problems, navigating ambiguity, and building partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups. What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial services with a background in consulting, corporate strategy, product strategy, investment product management, offer management, business transformation, or related strategic business functions.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic recommendations, business cases, executive presentations, and insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Proven ability to conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, opportunity assessment, and client or business segmentation to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools, analytical techniques, and research methods to improve strategic analysis and business recommendations.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with experience evaluating business opportunities, operating models, financial impacts, and competitive positioning.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear business recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within a matrixed environment.
- Experience leading or supporting complex cross-functional initiatives involving business, risk, compliance, operations, and technology partners.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of alternative investments, structured products, fixed income products, wealth management solutions, or other complex investment offerings.
- Experience working with Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and custodian business models.
- Experience partnering with external asset managers, issuers, banks, fintech organizations, or investment platform providers.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, strategic planning, business case development, and long-range business strategy processes.
- MBA, CFA, CAIA, Series 7, or equivalent advanced education or professional credentials.
- Experience supporting investment product strategy, offer management, or enterprise growth initiatives within wealth management or asset management organizations.
