Position Summary: As Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting on our Global Accounting team, you will own the delivery and management of Corporate Accounting Operations. Translating strategy into execution, this role includes leadership and oversight of the global monthly close process, revenue accounting (ASC 606), corporate general ledger, legal entity and consolidation ownership, and driving Oracle optimization across ERP configuration and reporting. You'll also own the year-end external audit and partner closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, and international accounting leaders to drive global consistency and compliance. What You'll Do: • Lead, mentor, and develop a team across local and hybrid environments — including Corporate Accounting, Revenue Accounting, and Consolidations — with responsibility for balanced workloads, coaching, goal setting, and performance reviews • Own consolidation and foreign currency accounting, including the legal entity framework and intercompany accuracy, in partnership with Tax and Legal • Accountable for global month-end close activities across multiple entities, including revenue, developed software, fixed assets, leases, acquisition-related accounts, and complex accruals • Develop and maintain a strong governance program over the month-end close, including preparation and review of global journal entries, account reconciliations, and related SOX controls • Build and maintain disaggregated balance sheet and income statement analysis to support a strong close process and assist Financial Planning & Analysis with variance analysis • Support M&A activities and lead post-acquisition integration and accounting • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and compliance, with timely response to any remediation needs • Lead the integrated audit process with external auditors, managing and resolving all related matters • Drive ERP and process improvements as the accounting function's voice in Oracle configuration, reporting hierarchies, and system initiatives • Collaborate proactively with department leaders, business partners, and international accounting teams Where You'll Work: This role is hybrid out of our headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. What You'll Bring: • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in a formal people management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong background in corporate accounting, general ledger management, and consolidations • Expertise in U.S. GAAP, including accounting standards, financial controls, and authoritative guidance • Significant experience with large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday Financials) and other core accounting close applications • Highly collaborative communication style with excellent written and verbal skills • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Public company experience preferred • CPA preferred What We Offer: At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The annual salary range for this role is: $133,500 - $164,500. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
