The Sr. Manager, Corporate Development will support the M&A team to execute inorganic initiatives across IDEX's global portfolio of companies across various markets. This role will manage and provide support for key phases of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments, joint ventures, and divestitures for IDEX, including transaction strategy structuring, valuation, due diligence and contract negotiations. As a core member of the M&A team, this role will manage a complex diligence process to make determinations as to the financial, operational and strategic viabilities for the Company and its various business units. + Develop and maintain preliminary financial forecast for transaction + Find comps to support valuation + Complete DCF and valuation as well as sensitivity analysis + Maintain model + Negotiate NDA’s on sell side engagements + Dataroom deep dive: Create diligence workbook capturing key learnings by function + Conduct internet research on market segments, competitors and micro / macro developments related to target + Maintain diligence tracker tool and prepare diligence agendas for live transactions + Drive functional diligence calls and manage dataroom engagement + Drive deal execution in smaller buyside and sell side + Prepare M&A funnel documents and build relationships with potential targets + Maintaining IDEX transaction M&A database + Collaboration and problem solving with business unit leaders, corporate functional teams and Sr IDEX leaders

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

+ J.D. or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or Finance + Investment Banking, management consulting, private equity, and/or industrial background (preferred) with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. + Experience with Capital IQ, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, effective review of SEC filings and equity research + Strong interpersonal skills including presentation capabilities and the ability to work effectively with various levels of management + Ability to make logical and effective recommendations based on ambiguous data + Comfortable working in a high performing team environment + Brings a high level of energy and curiosity + Project management skills + Critical thinking skills + Comfortable telescoping and rolling up sleeves + Analytical and detailed oriented Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $139,900.00 - $209,900.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
