Job Description:

The Role 
FI Data Solutions team is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Client Master Data Management (MDM) platform and translate product strategy into prioritized engineering roadmaps, technical deliverables, and execution plans. Operating with an enterprise mindset, this role collaborates across business units to align priorities, shape shared roadmaps, and deliver integrated solutions that balance localized needs with broader organizational outcomes. The role is accountable for platform strategy, engineering execution, and operational excellence for the Client MDM ecosystem.  

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

  • Ability to translate complex business vision and strategy into actionable engineering plans, roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs 

  • Strong enterprise perspective with success driving cross-functional alignment and integrated, scalable solutions 

  • Expertise in modern engineering practices, platform architecture, and system design to optimize performance and efficiency 

  • Proven ability to influence technical and architectural decisions that improve business and customer outcomes 

  • Experience developing data-driven business cases and conducting technology readiness assessments 

  • Strong awareness of industry and technology trends, with the ability to evaluate and recommend adoption opportunities 

  • Demonstrated success in defining and implementing technology standards and governance practices 

  • Effective collaboration with Product and Vendor Managers to evaluate, select, and integrate external solutions 

  • Strong vendor management capabilities, optimizing partnerships with both external providers and internal teams 

  • Commitment to operational excellence, including proactive contingency planning to ensure system reliability and availability 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

FI Data Solutions team is part of the FI Product and Business Enablement Technology (FIPBET) responsible for Data Management, Analytics and Shared Platform capabilities. Our diverse portfolio represents a broad set of business-critical capabilities that span revenue generation, operational execution and strategic decision support. Our team sits at the intersection of core business processes and enterprise data, enabling both operational processing and advanced analytics delivery.  

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
