Job Overview

Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and partners with Regional Operations Finance lead and/or Plant manager.

Your main tasks

  • •Manage all aspects of operational and supply chain finance for manufacturing plants globally.
  • Lead and develop the Ops finance team.
  • Tracking and reporting of KPI's with corrective actions initiated and follow-up as needed.
  • Direct and perform consolidation of operational financial information monthly and review, reconcile and analyse to provide recommendations for improvement to PSS leadership team.
  • Direct and perform preparation of supplemental financial information related to the PSS monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
  • Coordinate the annual cost roll in PSS plants, assessing and proactively communicating the impact to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Financial support and analysis of regional strategic operational objectives, including:
  • Footprint migration, consolidation or expansion activities
  • Capacity analysis
  • Automation projects and other capital investments
  • Analysis of operational results, both forecasted and actual, bridging performance over time
  • Preparation of concise summary of relevant information to facilitate decision making
  • Coordinate and conduct regular plant reviews
  • Support and review with plants business cases for CER.
  • Ensure the SOX and Policy Standards and support plant controller with the Audits (external and internal)

Your ideal background

  • University degree in finance, accounting, or business management.
  • Internationally recognized accounting qualification is a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience in Controlling and Finance assignments of increasing responsibility, including manufacturing finance experience related to budgeting, forecasting processes and consolidation
  • Proven track record of partnering with business functional leaders
  • Prior experience in a standard cost manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing organizations, manufacturing budgeting, forecasting processes and functional expenses
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams as well as to develop direct reports and other team members
  • Have outstanding influencing skills, strong motivational and leadership development capabilities and a history of creating consensus across many functional areas.
  • Accurate, systematic, and independent work style
  • Deals with Ambiguity and can effectively cope with change.
  • Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Able to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Effective change leader who can challenge appropriately and bring forward new and bold ideas that inspire and bring about positive change.
  • Culturally sensitive with international experience a plus
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and data consolidation tools.
  • SAP good knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing is beneficial
  • Be willing to travel regularly to visit plants.
