Job Summary

This job entails leading a team in data analytics and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making and predict business outcomes. It involves synthesizing complex data from varied sources into actionable insights and forecasting models. The role demands promoting a culture of data-driven excellence and staying current with emerging analytical trends.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Leading business discussions to understand data needs, developing technical requirements, and advising on data relevancy and alternative sources
• Overseeing data analysis from platforms like Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS to derive actionable business insights
• Combining disparate data sources for comprehensive analysis, ensuring team collaboration in data querying and manipulation
• Conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to identify key business drivers and insights
• Developing forecasting models to predict sales, demand, and other critical business metrics
• Analyzing campaign results to measure effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Communicating findings through narrative-driven presentations and effective visualizations to company executives and decision-makers
• Promoting a culture of data-driven discussions, curiosity, and knowledge sharing within the team and broader organization
• Staying abreast of emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning, applying new methodologies to business challenges
• Ensuring data governance and compliance with data privacy regulations, maintaining the integrity and security of business intelligence systems
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
