Sr. Manager, International Tax and Transfer Pricing

 

This position is hybrid working from our Legacy Support Center located in Plano Texas

About the role

This role focuses primarily on US International tax and all foreign tax matters for the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the US International compliance process

  • Manage global arm’s length transfer pricing and documentation

  • Foreign income tax provision and tax balance sheet account reconciliation
  • Manage US and Canadian customs and duties processes

  • Manage service provider with respect to foreign tax compliance
  • Manage US International and foreign income tax audits
  • Oversight of tax team associates and mentoring to develop a broad knowledge base with respect to US International and foreign tax matters
  • Special projects and tax planning

 

Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 7+ years direct International Income Tax experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Four years managing others and leading a team

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work cross-functionally at all levels within the organization and proactively seek solutions or suggest improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to complete all responsibilities in accordance with established deadlines

Working conditions & physical requirements

This will be a hybrid role required to be onsite at the corporate office on specified days. The work environment generally involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, and occasionally requires carrying, moving and setting up of computers, for example desktops, monitors, printers, and other small hardware in the testing lab.
