POSITION:

The Senior Manager, Market Access Marketing is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that enhance payer, provider, and institutional access to the company's products. This role partners closely with the Market Access team and cross-functional stakeholders to help translate brand strategy into access-focused initiatives that support reimbursement, formulary positioning, and product utilization across payer and health system channels.

This position reports to the Exec. Director, Digital and Omnichannel Marketing and serves as a key contributor to access-related customer engagement, field support, and execution of market access initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market Access Strategy & Execution

  • Support the development and execution of market access marketing strategies aligned with brand and access objectives
  • Assist in implementing payer and provider access initiatives, including formulary positioning and utilization efforts within key accounts
  • Help translate brand strategy into access-focused messaging tailored to payer, institutional, and health system audiences
  • Support the execution of market access initiatives that align with overall commercial objectives

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Market Access teams, including payer, trade, and field account teams, to support aligned strategy and execution
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to ensure consistent and coordinated customer engagement
  • Support field-based account teams (e.g., KAMs/SAMs) through development of tools, resources, and customer-facing materials
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to support timely execution of projects and initiatives

Customer Tools & Materials

  • Assist in developing and maintaining access-focused materials, including reimbursement guides, payer value propositions, account tools, and customer education resources
  • Ensure materials are compliant, customer-focused, and effectively support field execution
  • Gather and incorporate field and customer feedback to continuously improve tools and materials
  • Support review and approval processes in collaboration with Regulatory/Legal/Compliance teams

Insights & Analytics

  • Monitor payer coverage updates, reimbursement trends, and competitive market dynamics to support strategic planning
  • Gather and analyze customer, field, and market insights to identify opportunities to improve access and product utilization
  • Support reporting and analytics related to market access initiatives and customer engagement activities
  • Help measure effectiveness of market access marketing programs and recommend optimization opportunities

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Foundational understanding of market access, payer dynamics, reimbursement, and pharmaceutical commercialization
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical and access-related concepts in a clear and customer-focused manner
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Effective communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage insights and data to support decision-making
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative commercial environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, market access, sales support, or related commercial roles
  • Experience supporting payer, health system, institutional, or specialty pharmaceutical customers preferred
  • Prior experience working with or supporting field-based account teams (e.g., KAMs, SAMs) preferred
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing agency/vendor relationships preferred
