Position: Sr Manager, Operations - AMZ11127.7

Location: Rochester, NY

Multiple Positions Available:

  • Manages operations and logistics related to our workforce such as performance, productivity, safe work environment policies/procedures, and OSHA compliance, and adherence to quality control standards.
  • Manages and leads operations of salaried workforce/teams led by operations managers to correct quality defects and effect process efficiencies to improve customer experience for Global Supply Chain Fulfillment/Distribution operations.
  • Performs capacity planning and analysis.
  • Assesses and optimizes processes and equipment.
  • Recommends changes to work methods and labor standards that increase operational efficiency and safety.
  • Drives Kaizen projects using Lean Process Improvements, Six Sigma methodologies and other performance metrics/process improvements and statistical decision-making tools to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics.
  • Conducts qualitative/quantitative data analysis to support business decision making and cross functional initiatives.
  • Works closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives. This also involves taking proactive steps, coordinating cross-functionally across different business units, to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network.
  • Performs deep-dive analysis of complex data collected from the processes of the operations such as how orders are taken and processed, to the items available for selection and how these items are shipped and how they reach the customer.
  • Continually innovates and optimizes the processes for cost reduction and operation efficiency.

The pay range for this position in Rochester, NY is $135000 - $182700 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
