We"re looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Management - Technical to lead the team responsible for differentiated recommendation experiences on Amazon"s search results pages. These are the surfaces - carousels, AI-generated discovery modules, personalized collections - that sit alongside search results and offer shoppers curated, organized and highly personalized advertising that drives product discovery.

These experiences account for a multi-billion dollar segment of Sponsored Products and Brands revenue, and span over a dozen unique experiences across 20+ marketplaces. They reach nearly all Amazon shoppers globally, with billions of impressions served per day. This is a high-ambiguity, high-impact role which which requires a combination of shopper research, product design, system design, use of generative AI and constant experimentation. This role manages a cross-functional team of scientists, engineers and product managers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and SDEs
  • Define the long-term vision for ad recommendation experiences on Amazon Search.
  • Oversee development of systems and algorithms to deliver new experiences.
  • Define success metrics balancing shopper experience, advertiser and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Search organization to develop coherent experiences across organic and sponsored experiences.
