Amazon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Management to lead Growth Products and PMO for Amazon Extra Large (AMXL), Amazon"s Heavy Bulky delivery network. This role owns the strategy and execution for expanding AMXL"s addressable market - acquiring new customers, driving volume from new demand channels, enabling new selection, and shaping the product roadmap that unlocks growth at scale. The initiatives this team drives directly determine how many new customers enter the AMXL network, what products become deliverable, and which revenue streams get built - making this one of the highest-leverage growth roles in the organization.

You will lead a team of 8 across product management and program management, responsible for end-to-end growth strategy spanning externalization, new customer acquisition, customer segmentation, multi-box expansion, and new selection enablement. Your team also owns the PMO function - driving tech strategy, initiative prioritization, and cross-functional delivery across the broader AMXL organization. The role requires building compelling business cases, influencing cross-org partners (Retail, FBA, VAS Tech, regional operations) without direct authority, and translating growth opportunities into funded, resourced products that deliver measurable volume and revenue impact.

This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of product strategy, growth execution, and operational scaling. You will serve as the primary growth engine for AMXL"s customer acquisition and selection expansion, partnering directly with VP-level stakeholders to shape the network"s long-term trajectory.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end growth strategy for AMXL: externalization, new customer acquisition channels, customer segmentation, and selection expansion - with direct accountability for volume, revenue, and profitability outcomes
  • Drive multi-box and selection enablement initiatives, including new product type onboarding, translating operational capabilities into customer-facing growth
  • Lead the PMO function: tech roadmap prioritization, initiative sequencing, cross-functional delivery, operational planning for WW AMXL
  • Define and execute tech strategy in partnership with engineering teams, ensuring the product roadmap is funded, scoped, and delivering against growth targets
  • Build and defend business cases with rigorous financial modeling - P&L impact, volume projections, ROI analysis, and long-term unit economics
  • Influence cross-org stakeholders across Retail, FBA, VAS Tech, SCOT,LMDT, Finance, and regional operations to align roadmaps and secure commitments without direct authority
  • Present growth roadmap, initiative performance, and strategic recommendations to VP+ leadership during operating plan reviews, business reviews, and investment forums
  • Develop and retain a high-performing team of 8, fostering a culture of ownership, speed, and customer obsession

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
