Role Overview
As Sr. Manager, Small Business Portfolio - Integrated Marketing for Authorize.net, you will serve as a key strategic partner to marketing leadership and play a critical role in shaping how the Authorize.net brand shows up in the market as we expand globally. This is not a traditional content marketing role. It is a high-impact leadership position for a proactive, strategic, and highly collaborative marketer who can act as a head of content while also identifying opportunities to strengthen business development, organizational connectivity, and market presence.
You will lead the development of a modern, audience-centric content strategy that supports demand generation, brand authority, partner engagement, and regional expansion. You should be equally comfortable building strategic plans, spotting gaps and growth opportunities, creating compelling content, and driving cross-functional alignment across teams and regions.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative without waiting for direction, and can operate as a trusted extension of leadership bringing both strategic perspective and hands-on execution to the table.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD • 10+ years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, integrated marketing, or related strategic marketing roles. • We’re looking for a senior marketer who combines strategy, initiative, creativity, and business acumen. The right candidate is not waiting to be told what to do, they see opportunities, connect dots, and take action. • Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, e-commerce, small business, or a similarly complex B2B environment preferred. • Have significant experience in content marketing, brand strategy, or integrated marketing, ideally within B2B, fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology. • Can operate as both a strategist and a builder, comfortable setting direction while also creating, refining and building content yourself while contributing to the growth of the ANET business. • Bring a strong editorial mindset with the ability to develop narratives that resonate across multiple audiences and channels. • Are highly proactive and self-directed, with a demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity. • Know how to identify opportunities beyond the brief, including ways marketing can support business development, product, partnerships, and organizational alignment. • Are an exceptional cross-functional collaborator who can influence without formal authority. • Understand how to balance brand storytelling with performance-oriented marketing goals. • Have experience supporting multi-market or global marketing initiatives, including localization or regional adaptation. • Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high bar for quality, clarity, and impact. • Comfortable and proficient in presenting to executive leaders and working with senior executives. • Analytically savvy, can work, understand and interpret data and decision off data patterns. • Comfortable liasoning between direct and indirect channels. Must be able to manage partner relationships with AE/AMs and work both internally and externally with partners. • Proven track record of building content strategies that support pipeline, engagement, thought leadership, and brand growth. • Strong writing, editing, and creative direction skills across multiple content formats. • Experience working across matrixed organizations and partnering with senior stakeholders and executive leaders. • Familiarity with SEO/AEO/GEO, content performance measurement, digital content best practices, and modern search/discovery trends across direct/indirect/bots. • Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or cross-functional content contributors. • Proficient in AI use across various AI tools • Proficient in data analytics, excel, be able to interpret, dissect, visualize, and report out on data and create reports based on activations implemented. • Familiarity working in agile environments • Experience in joint B2B marketing initiatives across both direct and indirect channels.

The estimated salary range for this position is $138,300.00 to $ 221,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
