Sr. Manufacturing Cost Accountant

Volt is immediately hiring for a Direct Hire, Hybrid Schedule, Senior Manufacturing Cost Accountant in Taylor, TX. 

As a Sr. Manufacturing Cost Accountant, you will: 

• Lead product costing and inventory valuation activities.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and investigate cost variances.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve profitability and cost visibility.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with physical inventory and cycle count programs.
• Develop reporting and provide financial insights to plant leadership.
• Support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, with a hybrid schedule. 

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Background supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in a mid-sized manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $75,000 - $105,000 annually. 

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
