This role drives digitalization initiatives that integrate automation, robotics, AI applications, and manufacturing systems to improve operational performance, data integrity, and manufacturing outcomes.The position supports process optimization, system integration, and Industry 4.0 initiatives by partnering with manufacturing, IT, quality, and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable digital manufacturing solutions aligned with operational excellence objectives.Essential FunctionsLead and support digitalization initiatives across manufacturing environments to improve performance, quality, and operational visibilityDesign and support system integration between manufacturing systems, including MES integration, SAP manufacturing, automation platforms, and production quality systemsSupport process optimization efforts using data‑driven approaches, automation, robotics, and digital toolsEnable and support AI applications, including predictive quality, anomaly detection, and advanced analytics use cases in manufacturing operationsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement automation and robotics solutions aligned with manufacturing and quality objectivesEnsure data integrity across manufacturing and digital systems to enable reliable analytics and decision‑makingSupport continuous improvement initiatives through digital transformation and advanced manufacturing technologiesOperate within established governance and standards to support operational excellence and Industry 4.0 maturityServe as a senior technical resource for manufacturing digitalization, system integration, and automation initiativesLead implementation of AI/ML use cases, including predictive quality and anomaly detectionSupport process optimization initiatives using advanced analytics and digital manufacturing systemsCollaborate across manufacturing, IT, quality, and engineering teams on complex digital solutionsOther duties as assignedMinimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing automation, AI/ML use cases, production quality systems, and cross‑functional projectsDemonstrated experience with incident resolution, systems administration support, and compliance standards in manufacturing systemsPreferred Education and Experience RequirementsExperience supporting Industry 4.0 and smart factory technologiesExposure to QMS integrations, PLC/HMI awareness, IoT sensors, and analytics platformsExperience with cloud manufacturing systems and advanced data platformsManufacturing experience in automotive or heavy industrial environmentsStrong background in project coordination and cross‑functional collaborationLanguage RequirementNoneTravel RequirementsUp to 10%The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Hyundai Translead is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
