Job Description
Improve OEE and scrap performance on existing production lines
Maintains process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
Programs and modifies CNC programs on lathes and milling machines.
Validate CNC programs on equipment.
Works closely with quality control on 1st piece inspections and process improvements to verify that product being produced is in specification and in statistical process control o All other duties as assigned.
Skills Required Required Skills And Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
5%2B years of experience programming and modifying CNC programs.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or Mastercam.
Knowledge of machining fixtures (pneumatic and hydraulic).
Knowledge in various types of CNC machining equipment and manufacturers.
Experience with CNC lathes and CNC milling machines).
Concept of statistics and capability studies.
Understanding of GD&T and CMM system concepts.
