The expected annual salary range is $83,250.00 – $122,100.00 and the position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient production operations. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and implement new and advanced manufacturing technologies.Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures, and assist with training.Lead PFMEA activities using a systematic approach.Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades or new technologies to improve efficiency.Coordinate industrialization runs for new products and processes.Maintain routings in the system and evaluate efficiencies.Calculate capacity reports for planning purposes.Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.Support capital projects and manage timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships per project plans and Eaton standards.Investigate and initiate cost-reduction initiatives.Adhere to Eaton's Ethics and Values, as well as Quality Policies.Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accreditied institution.Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.Minimum of 3 years of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement tools.Able to travel 10% inside and outside of the United States, including Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Canada.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in engineering or related field.Experience in Electric Power Distribution or the Automotive industry.Experience in Automated Wire Harness Assembly including cutting, crimping, and routing.Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.Experience leading large CAPEX projects or new product development initiatives.Knowledge of cost estimating and cost-out tools and techniques.Familiarity with automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.Bilingual in English and Spanish.We are committed to equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
