Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Groveport, OH
Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $240,000.00 USD Annually
Description:

A client of ours in the Aerospace & Defense industry is looking to hire multiple Senior / Staff Manufacturing Engineers. These roles owns manufacturing for complex electromechanical products from prototype through full-rate production with a strong focus on DFM, production ramp, and scaling operations.

Full-time, direct hire position

Onsite in Groveport, OH

We also have openings across Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion Integration, Systems Integration, and Structures Engineering. The core need is engineers who have experience building and scaling complex hardware systems (electromechanical, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing ops or similar). Responsibilities:

• Own or lead manufacturing across the full product lifecycle
• Drive DFM/DFA with design engineering
• Build and maintain MBOMs, work instructions, and production documentation
• Support production ramp, capacity planning, and process optimization
• Lead quality initiatives, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with suppliers for sourcing and issue resolution
• Develop scalable production and test processes
• Mentor (Sr) or lead/manage (Staff) engineers

Qualifications:

• 6+ years (Sr) or 10+ years (Staff) in manufacturing/production engineering
• Experience with electromechanical systems, avionics, or mechanical fabrication
• Strong DFM/DFA and production scaling experience
• Background with MBOMs, ERP/PLM systems, and manufacturing docs
• Exposure to lean / six sigma / quality systems
• Supplier or contract manufacturing experience preferred
• U.S. Citizen required (DoD clearance is a plus)
