Established (and growing!) custom automation components engineering & manufacturing company has an opening for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

  • Lead the implementation of new product introductions (NPI), ensuring seamless transition from concept to full-scale production while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Implement continuous improvements for existing products and manufacturing processes
  • Maintain and enhance product quality by ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives through process optimization, Lean manufacturing techniques, and strategic supplier management
  • Collaborate with the engineering/design team (mechanical and electrical), quality assurance, production, and suppliers
  • Oversee the development of product models and assembly processes, ensuring they meet performance and cost goals
  • Participate in engineering design reviews, focusing on cost and manufacturability
  • Analyze and develop detailed workflow, equipment requirements and placement, fixturing needs, and space requirements
  • Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations
  • Create, maintain, and update assembly, packaging, and inspection procedures
  • Lead FMEA activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
  • Industrial components manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong experience with new product introductions and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience developing manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product development
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Solidworks experience a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Employment stability

Salary: $135-170K
