Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/hr.


Primary Objective

Support Digital Factory and Industry 4.0 initiatives by integrating manufacturing equipment with the Ignition platform, enabling real-time data collection, OEE reporting, equipment performance monitoring, and Power BI dashboards.

Top 3 Required Skills

  1. Industrial Automation Integration – Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, OPC-UA, industrial networking, equipment connectivity.
  2. Ignition Platform Expertise – Device connectivity, tag management, database integration, scripting, data pipelines, dashboard development.
  3. Power BI & SQL Reporting – Build, publish, maintain automated dashboards and KPI reporting from manufacturing data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect PLC and non-PLC production equipment to Ignition and databases.
  • Troubleshoot equipment communication and data flow issues.
  • Configure and maintain tags, data structures, and reporting systems.
  • Develop and support OEE, equipment performance, and operational dashboards.
  • Build and maintain Power BI reports and automated reporting solutions.
  • Support software verification/validation activities in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Operations teams on Smart Factory initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition.
  • Experience with software/system design, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
