Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's preferred)
5-10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
Strong background in electrical systems (control panels, MPDUs, PLCs, wiring, sensors, motion control)
Expert competency with IPC-A-620C standard
Knowledge of CAD packages (AutoCAD, Autodesk, SolidWorks) and manufacturing systems (ERP, MES)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, CAPA, 8D, root cause analysis) and quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100)
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to travel up to 15%
Responsibilities:
Lead development and implementation of manufacturing solutions and translate customer and engineering requirements into effective manufacturing processes
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and scalable production
Lead Quality Management Process and Documentation for internal and external customers, and own and manage First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and reports
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve detailed work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and FMEA methodologies, and oversee electrical build processes including wiring, harnessing, panel integration, and system validation
