Description: This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturing company in the area. This person will lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, investigate and resolve production issues, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows. You will develop and maintain process documentation, support equipment installation and startup, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role will also involve implementing corrective and preventive actions, executing engineering studies, and collaborating with departments to improve quality and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field required
- 5+ years of experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment required
- One or more years of experience leading or supervising
- Medical device experience and plastics background strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Plastics background highly preferred
- Lean/Kaizen experience preferred
- Strong technical writing skills, including SOP creation and process documentation, are required
