Description
Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for a12-month Contract. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support New Product development projects by:
Leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off the shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures
Developing custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
Authoring manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, PPAP documents
Creating prints for components used for product repair
Coordinating and troubleshooting incoming inspection / FAI of product components
Setting up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection
Requirements
Fluent in reading prints (components, custom fixtures, etc.)
Strong writing and documentation skills
Experience with assembly and testing of fixtures/equipment
Experience supporting manufacturing lines
Excellent communication skills
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Strong ability to independently problem-solve (technical and non-technical)
LabView/TestStand experience a plus
Medical device experience a plus
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Field required
