  • Own segments of the manufacturing value chain across multiple aerospace products

  • Develop and maintain standardized assembly work instructions with continuous improvement focus

  • Establish and track key manufacturing metrics including takt time, cycle time, yield, and throughput

  • Apply lean manufacturing and process improvement tools such as value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and visual management systems

  • Lead manufacturing design initiatives from concept through validation, including tooling and fixture development

  • Support production builds, testing activities, and equipment operations directly on the manufacturing floor

  • Provide technical guidance and training to assembly and test technicians

  • Lead root cause and corrective action efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Partner with Design Engineering to assess manufacturability and testability of new and existing products

  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering on PFMEA development, control plans, inspections, and compliance initiatives

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce build time, improve quality, and increase production output

  • Support implementation and refinement of ERP, PLM, and MES systems as they relate to manufacturing execution

  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality and safety standards

  • Maintain strong shop floor presence and act as a technical resource for production teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in high-complexity or high-volume production environments

  • Strong hands-on experience supporting hardware development and production processes

  • Experience with ERP, PLM, and MES systems

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience working in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 regulated environments

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and operational execution

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and operations teams

  • Must be eligible to work in environments requiring access to export-controlled systems/tools in compliance with U.S. regulations
