Job TitleLead Swiss CNC ProgrammerAbout Our ClientMy client supports a manufacturing environment using advanced, high-precision machining systems for producing complex metal components with extremely tight tolerances. The equipment combines automated, CNC-controlled processes and specialized material-removal techniques commonly used in medical device, electronics, aerospace, and other precision industries. The position involves working closely with process development, tooling, and quality teams to ensure reliable, repeatable, and high-accuracy production.Job Description· Lead and own Swiss machining process development from prototype through production release.· Develop, validate, and optimize complex CNC programs for Swiss/Citizen, Tsugami and Star machines.· Establish standardized setup documentation, tooling libraries, and process parameters.· Design and approve fixture, work holding, and cutting tool strategies.· Perform root cause analysis for scrap, rework, and downtime; implement corrective actions.· Support quoting by developing cycle times and manufacturing process strategies.· Conduct process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and support FAI validation activities.· Drive Lean initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, OEE improvement, and tool life optimization.· Mentor and provide technical guidance to programmers, setup personnel, and junior engineers· Evaluate capital equipment and tooling investments to improve productivity and capacity.
