My client operates in a highly advanced manufacturing environment that utilizes precision machining technologies to produce complex metal components with exceptionally tight tolerances. These systems integrate automated, CNC-driven processes and specialized machining methods commonly found in the medical device, aerospace, electronics, and other high-precision industries. This role works closely with Process Development, Tooling, and Quality teams to ensure consistent, repeatable, and accurate production performance.
· Lead and own Swiss machining process development from prototype through production release.
· Develop, validate, and optimize complex CNC programs for Swiss/Citizen, Tsugami and Star machines.
· Establish standardized setup documentation, tooling libraries, and process parameters.
· Design and approve fixture, work holding, and cutting tool strategies.
· Perform root cause analysis for scrap, rework, and downtime; implement corrective actions.
· Support quoting by developing cycle times and manufacturing process strategies.
· Conduct process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and support FAI validation activities.
· Drive Lean initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, OEE improvement, and tool life optimization.
· Mentor and provide technical guidance to programmers, setup personnel, and junior engineers
· Evaluate capital equipment and tooling investments to improve productivity and capacity.

· 5+ years of progressive Swiss CNC programming and manufacturing engineering experience.
· Advanced CAM proficiency (Mastercam, Esprit, or equivalent).
· Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
· Ability to maintain tight tolerances (±0.0001 or better).
· Knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and AS9100/ISO9001 compliance standards.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
· Experience in aerospace, medical, or high-precision manufacturing environments preferred.
Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 USD.
