Job Description

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary manufacturing engineering team, setting priorities, objectives, and performance expectations
• Own manufacturing process design, validation, and optimization across machining, special processes, assembly, and test
• Drive productivity, yield, and lead-time improvements using structured continuous improvement and lean methodologies
• Partner with operations, quality, and supply chain to resolve complex manufacturing issues and improve process capability
• Support new product introduction by ensuring tooling, processes, capacity, and documentation are production-ready
• Review and approve engineering change requests, assessing manufacturability, cost impact, and make-versus-buy decisions
• Manage departmental budgets, headcount planning, and capital equipment justification and implementation
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality and regulatory frameworks

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline
• Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with proven people leadership responsibility
• Strong background in machining, tooling, fixtures, process validation, and production support
• Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement, cost reduction, and operational performance
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments with rigorous quality systems
• Ability to lead through influence, communicate effectively across functions, and make sound technical decisions
• Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, engineering-driven operation
• Eligibility to work with controlled technical data under applicable US regulations
