Job Description

Now Hiring: BP Line Operator

BetaPure Manufacturing | Stafford Springs, CT

Help produce high-quality filtration materials used by customers who rely on Thermo Fisher Scientific products. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate and monitor a polypropylene carding production line, make real-time process adjustments, perform in-process quality checks, and support a safe, compliant, audit-ready work area.

What You Will Do

  • Operate the polypropylene carding line safely and efficiently following standard work instructions, line-clearance parameters, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain steady material flow and monitor line conditions to support stable production and consistent output.
  • Adjust key settings such as heat, fiber thickness, and line speed to keep product within published quality specifications.
  • Perform in-process checks for airflow, basis weight, and product dimensions; enter production and quality data accurately.
  • Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks, routine inspections, changeover support, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Follow GMP, safety, environmental, documentation, and workflow requirements, and stop production when safety, quality, or equipment performance is at risk.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; resume required.
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand, monitor, and adjust production equipment.
  • Ability to interpret quality data and make appropriate process adjustments.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and willingness to complete required safety, compliance, and role-based training.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods.
