Senior Marketing Operations Specialist  About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to support promotional execution across Retail and Ecommerce channels, customer data operations, and direct marketing initiatives. This contract opportunity is ideal for a marketing operations professional who excels in managing complex processes, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

In this role, you will play a critical part in promotion setup, customer data management, catalog marketing operations, and business reporting. Success requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent project coordination skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Promotion Management & Execution (60%)
Lead the end-to-end execution of promotional campaigns across retail and ecommerce platforms by:

• Managing the timely and accurate implementation of promotional events.
• Configuring promotional offers within Retail and Web platforms, including PredictSpring and Shopify.
• Preparing, validating, and maintaining pricing files for product-level promotions.
• Partnering with Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, and Retention teams to ensure promotional requirements are accurately translated into execution plans.
• Conducting testing and quality assurance to verify promotions function according to business requirements and customer expectations.
• Monitoring live promotions and quickly resolving issues to minimize customer impact.
• Developing and maintaining process documentation and execution guidelines.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on promotional capabilities and recommending optimal implementation strategies.

Direct Marketing & Customer Data Operations (30%)
Support catalog marketing initiatives through effective customer data management by:

• Creating production schedules aligned with marketing objectives, target audiences, circulation goals, and delivery timelines.
• Extracting customer and purchase data for vendor modeling, segmentation, and suppression activities.
• Collaborating with external vendors to develop data files, instructions, keycodes, and campaign summary materials.
• Performing thorough audits and validations to ensure data accuracy and flawless execution throughout the mailing process.
• Working closely with IT teams and leadership to meet campaign deadlines and operational requirements.

Business Reporting & Operational Support (10%)

• Generate recurring retail customer data capture reports.
• Support ad hoc and ongoing reporting requests by collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data.
• Provide operational insights that help support marketing and business decision-making.

Qualifications Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in:
  • Marketing Operations
  • Ecommerce Operations
  • Retail Operations
  • Data Operations
  • Business Operations or related fields
• Strong experience managing operational processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, data validation, and analysis.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with Shopify.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Background supporting retail and ecommerce environments.
• Experience with customer database management.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
