About our group:
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective planning and control of materials to support production requirements while optimizing inventory and meeting business targets. This role requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional coordination, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
About the role - you will:
Ensure material supply aligns with production requirements and product mix to support uninterrupted operations
Perform demand and supply analysis in response to changes in planning assumptions or key parameters
Develop and communicate accurate demand signals to Purchasing to ensure timely raw material availability
Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Production, and Engineering to ensure efficient material flow and issue resolution
Collaborate with the Production team to support execution of build plans and delivery commitments
Monitor and control inventory levels to meet corporate targets while optimizing working capital
Identify potential supply risks and proactively implement mitigation plans to ensure continuity
Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining required service levels
Analyze planning data and provide actionable insights to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency
About you:
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with proven ability to communicate effectively in a global environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to apply data-driven analysis in material planning, forecasting, and decision-making
Strong ability to perform under pressure, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality results within tight timelines
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; able to work independently while also contributing effectively within cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tools or systems, and drive continuous improvement
Outstanding interpersonal, planning, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly communicate complex information
Your experience includes:
Experience in Hard Disk Drives (HDD) manufacturing or related high-volume production environment
Strong background in Material Planning, Production Control, or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and demand planning
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Experience in driving digital transformation or data-driven decision making in manufacturing
Ability to build dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Experience in predictive analysis / forecasting using AI or statistical tools

Korat, Thailand
Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finish drives.
