DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Materials Planner at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes and ensuring seamless manufacturing operations. You'll provide strategic guidance over supply chain management, coordinating the timely delivery of materials that support manufacturing and assembly processes. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining data integrity in our ERP system, managing inventory levels, and establishing effective shipping schedules.
In this role, you'll analyze inventory forecasts, consistently maximize manufacturing utilization, and oversee critical processes including cycle counts and engineering changes. You'll have the opportunity to directly impact operational efficiency by minimizing inventory carrying costs while ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demands, as well as optimizing operational resources. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $92,900.00-$139,325.00.
