GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze customer releases and inventory requirements.
  • Develop and coordinate multiple- production line schedules to meet customers' ship schedules while meeting inventory goals, level loading and meeting customers' takt times production
  • Communicate with internal and external customers, in a timely and Accurate Manner.
  • Develop a positive and cooperative relationship with customers, some travel required.
  • Data input, clerical and administrative activities as required by the position
  • Cycle count components, identify issues.
  • Analyze internal inventory component variances, problem solve and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist shipping / receiving supervisor in daily activities as back-up
  • Daily answering & inputting customer information
  • Responsible for housekeeping in area and work within company HS&E and WPS guidelines.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Understanding of customer requirements within the automotive and packaging marketplace.
  • Well-developed computer skills with the ability to use the computer system as an effective tool for tracking orders and maintaining accurate inventory and production records.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills and above average written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen.
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Logistics, or Materials with a minimum of five years' materials experience in a fast pace manufacturing facility.
