Position Summary

This is a hands-on leader role at the center of plant operations, responsible for driving inventory accuracy across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished assemblies. You will supervise daily inventory activities, enforce standard work, and ensure SAP transactional discipline, maintaining tight alignment between physical inventory and system data. Success in this role requires strong capability in part traceability, revision control, and material flow within an engineered product environment, along with the ability to lead, develop, and hold a team accountable to performance standards. This position will oversee cycle count programs, lead discrepancy investigations, and drive root cause and corrective actions to resolution.

Key Responsibilities - Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Lead inventory control activities across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Develop, enhance, and standardize inventory control processes to improve accuracy, and compliance across manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure accuracy of all SAP inventory transactions (goods movements, adjustments, transfers etc).
  • Monitor and analyze SAP inventory variances; drive root cause and corrective actions with cross functional team.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members while fostering accountability and engagement.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly inventory reconciliation letters to customers and suppliers to confirm on-hand balances.
  • Lead regular reviews with customers to validate inventory positions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trail of all customer inventory confirmations and discrepancy resolutions.
  • Lead annual physical inventory and system reconciliation
  • Partnering with Production, Planning and Logistics team to Drive accountability for accurate and timely SAP entries,
  • Drive process standardization and best practices in SAP usage.
  • Leverage SAP reports to identify trends and improve inventory performance.

Salary Range:

$80,800 - $111,100
