quip is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Product Lifecycle) to own the technical lifecycle of our hardware. In this role, you are the dedicated technical lead for specific product verticals. You will lead the engineering of New Product Introductions (NPI) while also taking primary ownership of existing products already in production. You aren't just a designer; you are responsible for a product's long-term health, evolution, and success. You will define the technical requirements for validation and reliability, utilize field data to drive Continuous Improvements (CI), and lead the forensic analysis that defines quip's hardware standards.
This role is full time on-site in our DUMBO, Brooklyn design studio.
Base Salary: $155k to $175k
This range represents anticipated base salary range for this position, in addition to competitive benefits and equity (as applicable). We carefully assess and consider several factors with each candidate, including location, role-related knowledge, experience and skills. Compensation may vary based on these considerations.
