Sr Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant mechanical design experience
• 500+ hours in SolidWorks or equivalent industrial CAD program
• Proficient with manual mills, lathes, CNC mills, and general shop equipment
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and documentation
• Self-starter who can manage their own tasks and deadlines independently

Responsibilities

• Design parts and assemblies in SolidWorks using advanced surfacing and master modeling techniques
• Develop system-level solutions for clients from concept through final CAD, prototyping, and production drawings
• Program and operate the HAAS CNC mill using HSMWorks; manage in-house vs. outside shop production decisions
• Build and manage system-level Bills of Materials and oversee vendor relationships for purchased components
• Supervise the full build process including assembly, delivery, and hands-on fabrication as needed
• Produce production-level drawings, process instructions, part numbers, and engineering change controls
