The Senior Mechanical Engineer will play a key role within the R&D function, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving mechanical systems, components, and products from concept through production.

Description

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for both new and existing products
  • Lead mechanical design efforts from concept development through prototyping, validation, and production release
  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
  • Perform engineering analyses, including tolerance analysis, thermal and structural evaluation, FMEA, and DFA/DFM
  • Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and recommend design improvements
  • Partner with manufacturing to ensure designs are scalable, manufacturable, and cost-effective
  • Support prototype builds, validation testing, and new product launches
  • Participate in design reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners for component development
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal procedures

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably within an R&D environment
  • Strong proficiency in CAD tools (experience with NX and Windchill/Creo is a plus)
  • Experience with full product development lifecycle and prototype testing
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Job Offer
