    Description

    Skill Set

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
    • Design, develop, and maintain frontend user interfaces using ASP.NET Core MVC, including Razor Views, layouts, partial views, and view components.
    • Enhance and support existing web applications with emphasis on UI behavior, usability, performance, responsiveness, and maintainability.
    • Implement frontend logic using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MVC patterns to deliver intuitive and consistent user experiences.
    • Integrate frontend components with existing backend APIs and services, ensuring accurate data rendering and efficient client server interaction.
    • Collaborate closely with backend developers and solution architects to ensure frontend implementation aligns with established system architecture.
    • Translate business and product requirements into effective and scalable MVC based frontend solutions.
    • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
    • Identify and remediate frontend performance, security, and accessibility issues.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies and work collaboratively with Product Owners and cross functional teams.
    • Provide limited backend support as needed, primarily related to MVC controllers, model binding, and integration points rather than building core backend services.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 8+ years of experience developing applications using .NET / C#, with a strong emphasis on frontend development using ASP.NET Core MVC.
    • Demonstrated hands on experience with ASP.NET Core MVC, including Razor syntax, controllers, views, and model binding.
    • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend web development best practices.
    • Experience integrating frontend MVC applications with RESTful APIs.
    • Working knowledge of ASP.NET Core backend concepts sufficient to understand and support frontend integration.
    • Experience deploying and supporting web applications in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
    • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar, within an Agile/Scrum environment.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.



    ***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
