Hansen Talent Group is looking for a skilled Network Administrator with strong experience supporting CISCO and Palo Alto networks to join a great team in the great Columbia, SC area! Position will offer the unique opportunity to support large scale infrastructure projects as well as support network security intiatives.
The Network Admin will serve as a point of reference on technical issues surrounding network operations and infrastructure, supporting multiple on-going projects and ensuring network connectivity.
DAILY DUTIES:
- Managing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, working with CISCO, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Citrix, and Trellix solutions.
- Monitor network performance. Troubleshoot bottlenecks and network outages, identify root cause and provide solutions to support continuous uptime.
- Support network upgrades and security enhancement efforts.
- Configure firewalls and security policies.
- Review and improve security compliance through cybersecurity best practices, and implement updates or changes as needed.
- Maintain network diagrams to ensure audit readiness.
Qualifications:- 10+ years of experience working with CISCO networks
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet/Fortigate firewalls
- Experience supporting architectural conversations and providing design recommendation
